KOSMO - Razors
This product by MÜHLE is the perfect companion for everyone who have a touch of the cosmopolitan about them. The clear design language of the KOSMO line is accentuated by a striking chrome neck. Materials full of character such as millennia-old bog oak and expressive olive wood lend this modern design series that special something. Brushes, shavers and safety razors are also available in classic colours for cosmopolitans with a penchant for black.
- Safety Razor - Closed Comb
A noble design and mechanical precision. The MÜHLE safety razor with closed comb promises a thorough yet gentle shave. Unlike the safety razor with an open comb, the foam edge has no teeth. In combination with a slightly steeper blade angle, this safety razor promises a particularly gentle shaving technique, which is also suitable for beginners with a little practice. The finest contours and clear lines at the base of the beard are just the icing on the cake.
- Gillette® Mach3®
A global bestseller: Gillette® Mach3® and Mach3® Turbo are among the world’s most widely used shaving systems. Three blades set one on top of the other guarantee an effective shave. Skin guards to protect your skin get the beard hair just right, while the lubrication strip reduces irritation of the skin. The blades are available from retailers everywhere.
- Gillette® Fusion™
Gentle, safe and reliable: the five superimposed blades of Gillette® Fusion™ enable a careful and thorough shave that is also gentle on the skin. A precision edging blade ensures precise contours, while comfort lubrication strips guarantee an even smoother result. Thanks to its simple and safe handling, this system is ideal for newcomers and is available from retailers everywhere. All MÜHLE shavers in this system are also compatible with SkinGuard, Gillette’s latest product development.
- High-Grade Resin
High-grade resin is a high-quality synthetic material, the surface of which is processed and refined separately. The material is ideal for exclusive accessories and writing implements because it facilitates a broad spectrum of modern and classical designs in many attractive colours.
To begin with, the aesthetic basic shapes for brush and razor handles are turned out of solid rods. Then each individual work piece is polished in several passes to give the surface its special gleam. This processing method lends the models a pleasant feel and secures their beauty for many years to come.
- Bog Oak
This rare material is not a wood species in its own right, but comes from wood that sank into bogs many centuries ago and has undergone various processes of change in the meantime. This preserves the wood naturally and lastingly. An expressive, dark colour develops due to the tannins in the bog.
The scarcity of these tree trunks today makes this material a genuine rarity. The colouring of the wood varies between brown, dark brown and black-brown. To begin with, square timbers are sawn from the few usable trunk sections and then turned out as handles. Several polishes with fine oils provide an additional seal for the surfaces and give them a silky-matt finish.
- Olive wood
Since ancient times, olive wood has been valued for its outstanding material characteristics and warm colouring. It is to be found throughout the Mediterranean region and has been used for centuries to make durable goods or artistic objects.
The wood we use must be dried carefully for months before the handles are turned. We then sand the surfaces, seal them with oil and polish them to a silky finish. This brings out the gentle, honey-coloured grain of the wood particularly well.
