TRADITIONAL
For experts and those who want to become experts: an extra-steady hand is needed when wet shaving with a safety razor from the TRADITIONAL series. But with a little practice, the morning ritual will soon become a pleasure you won’t be able to do without – precisely because it requires you to pause and take a little time out. MÜHLE manufactures this classic shaving accessory with detachable blades in two versions. The safety razor with open comb facilitates a particularly direct shaving technique for the most discerning of experts. Shaving with a closed comb is a gentler experience, although the result is just as precise and thorough. The most pleasant of all care rituals is, of course, a matching shaving brush. A classic product made of chrome-plated metal, optionally also in black, or a little more exclusive with an alloy of rose gold.
The Material:
-
Rose gold-plated metal
With a tender shimmer, softer in appearance, yet long-lasting and durable. The soft hue of the rose gold-plated handle blends in with the fine chasing.
-
Chrome-plated metal
Without chrome the world would forfeit a lot of its lustre. In the finish used for our wet shaving accessories it demonstrates its best qualities: The material is corrosion-resistant, very long-lasting and has a luxurious, alluring lustre. When contrasted with this, the colours and shapes of other premium materials are shown to their very best advantage.
-
High-Grade Resin
High-grade resin is a high-quality synthetic material, the surface of which is processed and refined separately. The material is ideal for exclusive accessories and writing implements because it facilitates a broad spectrum of modern and classical designs in many attractive colours.
To begin with, the aesthetic basic shapes for brush and razor handles are turned out of solid rods. Then each individual work piece is polished in several passes to give the surface its special gleam. This processing method lends the models a pleasant feel and secures their beauty for many years to come.
The Razorhead:
-
Classic razor blade - closed comb
A noble design and mechanical precision. The MÜHLE safety razor with closed comb promises a thorough yet gentle shave. Unlike the safety razor with an open comb, the foam edge has no teeth. In combination with a slightly steeper blade angle, this safety razor promises a particularly gentle shaving technique, which is also suitable for beginners with a little practice. The finest contours and clear lines at the base of the beard are just the icing on the cake.
-
Classic razor blade - open comb
Only straight razors are even more traditional. The MÜHLE safety razor with open tooth comb clearly requires a watchful eye and a steady hand. The comparatively wide teeth and flat positioning of the blade promise an extremely direct and aggressive shave – this makes wiry and longer beard hair easier to reach and shave off. For advanced and professional shavers who know exactly what they’re doing during their daily care ritual.
The Brushhead:
-
Silvertip Fibre®
This premium quality, durable synthetic fibre is a worldwide innovation and proof from us that art is capable of surpassing nature. The synthetically produced hair, which is also suitable for vegans, is very easy to look after and dries faster than any natural material. The fibres are made by hand and are particularly soft at the tip. At the same time, the lower part of the brush is firmer and provides sufficient backbone for a pleasant massage effect even when wet. In addition, Silvertip Fibre® guarantees a luxurious lather even when using the smallest amounts of shaving soap or cream.
-
Silvertip Badger
A tried and trusted classic and the undisputed leader of the natural hair range: silvertip badger is particularly soft and flexible and is exclusively handmade at MÜHLE. Its silver sheen and a black band around each individual hair, which connoisseurs call a mirror, are noble distinguishing features. Its fine, conically shaped hair absorbs a lot of water and guarantees a dense, creamy lather.
